Roadsworth (Peter Gibson) began painting the streets of Montreal in 2001. At first motivated by the lack of bike lanes and his questioning of our car culture, he developed a singular language based on street signage mostly by using stencils on the ground and on other elements of the urban scenery. Roadsworth has produced several public art commissions and held his first solo exhibit in November 2010.
